Minor Surgical Procedures
Our team at Innovative Urgent Care and Family Health Clinic in San Antonio, Bandera, Rockport, or Boerne, Texas is equipped to handle a wide variety of surgical procedures, including stitches, abscess drainage, and infected toenail treatment.
Abscess Drainage: An abscess happens when pus gathers beneath the skin, forming a lump. Our team can treat abscesses by making cuts or giving antibiotics.
Cysts: Cysts can occur due to genetic factors or infection. Cysts appear similar to blisters, but they may contain gaseous or semisolid material. If you have a painful cyst, our staff may use aspiration or removal to treat the issue.
Lesions: We perform surgical incisions to remove abnormal growths or lesions.
Skin Infections: Skin infections may require an incision or drainage.
Burns: We treat mild to severe burns. The treatment procedure includes the removal of devitalized tissue and blisters.
Subungual Hematoma: A condition in which there is bleeding under the fingernail or toenail. Usually caused by a crush injury, a subungual hematoma can cause symptoms such as intense pain and throbbing as blood collects under the nail.
Do not attempt to address these conditions on your own beyond basic wound cleaning. Contact our staff for professional treatment.
